Is Your Online Product Launch At Risk?
Have you put your product launch at risk? Have you got a big hole in your marketing that is going to cause you problems when you launch your product?
Well, the fact is, many people do, and they just don’t know it.
Many people today build a list with a newsletter and they want to respect the people on that newsletter by “not disturbing them too much”. It’s well and good that you want to respect your customers and prospects, but the fact is, you’re not communicating with them.
I’ll explain…
How often do you talk to your family or best friend? Once a year? Once a month? No, I’d say a lot more than that. At worst, in most cases, it’s at least once a week.
Why do we do that? Because we have a RELATIONSHIP with them!
So why aren’t you doing that with your list?
Sending out an email once a month on a newsletter is up there with junk mail we get once a month from companies we don’t know or really care about, because we feel they don’t care about us.
Instead of sending them out information once a month (which I’m sure is very valuable content) you need to create a dialogue with people. Rather than having a one way conversation, have a two way conversation. Engage them in a dialogue and they will love you for it. Your customers will feel you care about them (which I know you do) and they will respond much much better when you come to launch your products.
I recommend emailing at least twice a week with valuable content, as well as marketing material. Condition your list to expect more than an email a month from you. Since you’ll be sending them very regular emails when it comes to launch time, you need to make sure that they are used to it. If not, they’re going to opt out and leave your list forever.
Communicate very regularly, create a dialogue and your Product Launch will go much better because of it.
